Google's latest Platform Properties feature is beginning to appear for more users in India. While reviewing our Google Search Console account, we noticed a new blue pop-up introducing the feature, suggesting that Google is expanding access beyond its initial rollout.
The notification appears below the property selector and reads: "New! Discover how visitors find your Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube content on Google Search." Google first announced Platform Properties earlier this month, saying the feature would be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks.
New Search Console Prompt Highlights Social Performance Tracking
The newly spotted pop-up encourages users to explore how their content from supported platforms performs in Google Search. Once enabled, Platform Properties lets creators and businesses connect their Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube accounts to Search Console.
One of the features in Search Console is providing access to data like number of views, clicked items, what kinds of content did well, search terms used, and where the users are coming from.
Rollout Appears to Be Reaching More Accounts
When Google announced Platform Properties, the company noted that the feature would become available in phases rather than reaching all users at once. The appearance of the new notification in our Search Console account indicates that the rollout is now expanding to additional users, including those in India.
Since Google is enabling access gradually, not every Search Console account may see the blue prompt immediately. Users who don't see it yet may receive the feature over the coming weeks. To stay updated, get in touch with Vybepop Media.
